Running has amazing physical and mental benefits and with the ‘Couch to 5K’ app you are guided from those first steps to a 5k run by a number of celebrity voices including Olympian Michael Johnson.
If running isn’t your thing and if you’re more interested in lifting weights, then the FitBod ap is probably the one for you. FitBod also learns your routine so the more you use the app, the more it understands your abilities and the challenges you face. You can even tailor your workouts to suit the equipment that you have available too.
A free mindfulness app, Smiling App allows you to explore meditation and mindfulness in your own time. On the app you can explore courses in a host of areas including the foundations of mindfulness, sleep improvement, relationship improvements and workplace improvements.
