Tips for attending events in the ‘new normal’

Seek out the alternative options:

Whilst many are looking forward to getting back to attending large scale, big name events such as music festivals and sporting events, there are multiple interesting options for smaller events for you to attend. During the lockdown periods, grassroots promoters have been forced to think innovatively and this has led to a number of unique experiences being possible for those looking to attend events. The smaller numbers also make it easier to follow the current guidelines.

Do not forget the mask:

It is now firmly established that the best way to protect yourself and those around you is to wear a mask and whilst this has now become part of routine where shopping, do not forget this when attending events this summer.  Do not forget to stay socially distant too.

Top up the ‘survival kit’:

Anyone who attends festivals will know about the need for a survival kit; a small bag full of things that you need to get you through a mud-filled day listening to your favourite bands. In Covid times, update your survival kit to include hand sanitiser, disinfecting wipes, and extra face masks alongside the usual sunscreens, wet wipes and water.
